The Bunny Boot was designed after numerous soldiers suffered from frost bite while fighting in the Battle of Chosin Reservoir during the Korean War. It supports soldiers in the coldest conditions that any military could reasonably attempt to operate in; a ‘worst-case scenario’ that includes regions such as Alaska, Siberia, and both the Arctic and Antarctic poles.

This waterproof rubber boot can be worn in extremely cold weather, −20°F to −60°F (−29°C to −51°C), with the liner-free interior retaining warmth by sandwiching up to one inch of wool and felt insulation between two vacuum-tight layers of rubber. The Bunny Boot’s design includes an air valve system that relieves air pressure while airborne and allows the wearer to check the boot for leakage.
